Italian Society for Climate Sciences: “ClimRisk19 – Climate Risk: implications for ecosystem services and society, challenges, solutions, Topic: 7 Urban areas: assessing, predicting and managing the current and future risk." Presentation: "Assessment of direct and indirect impacts of urban flood in Monza"
Royal Academy of Engineering, Frontiers of Development - Disaster Resilience workshop in Instambul: presentation "GRAph-based Model (GRAM) to assessment disaster risk of complex systems". Adopting the analogies between some graph metrics (e.g. authority, degree, hub values) and the risk variables (exposure and vulnerability), I show a deeper knowledge of the exposed and vulnerability system to the hazard (structure, weaknesses, etc.). Then, I propagate the impact in the system in order to not only estimate the direct but also indirect and cascading effects.

7th IAHR Europe Congress, September 7th – 9th, 2022, Athens, Greece, presentation title: "Indirect impacts: a weak point in the flood risk chain addressed by a graph approach". This work presents a method that explores some of the indirect flood damages to help filling existing knowledge gaps.
XXXVIII Convegno Nazionale di Idraulica e Costruzioni Idrauliche Reggio Calabria, Settembre 2022, title presentation "Quantify the disaster reslience of a city by a redundant and adaptable graph". This work aim to quantify flood disaster resilience of a urban complex system, in accordance with the UNGA’s resilience definition, by means of the construction of a graph with resilience characteristics and apply it in a case study.
